Pre-ompregnated, twisted cotton yarn, intensively reimpregnated during braided, An economical packing for stated limits of application.
The colorless impregnation prevents any discolouration of the product. The packing is therefore mainly used with clean media.
Due to its sea-water-resistant impregnation, the packing can be also be used for sealing stern tubes and rudder posts.
It can be used in water, sewage water, sea water, salt solution. Special versions 231 Cotton packing with grease/graphite impregnation. Resistant to water. Application figures per as 230.

The packing is made of remie fiber impregnated with PTFE plus lubricant. As ramie turns soft and fibre expands after being placed in sea water, the packing is especially suitable for values or pumps that require resistance to corrosion caused by seamater.

The packing is made of white asbestos fiber cords impregnated with PTFE dispersion.(Addtition of lubricant is operational.) It is soft in texture and suitable as the sealing of pumps for liquidated chemicals. However, packing impregnated with lubricants is reco-mended for use with reciprocating pumps or for the sealing in places where linear velocity is up to 10m/s.
